Susann Billberg Rydholm joins SF Studios as new Head of TV Drama

Scandinavia’s leading film and TV production and distribution company, SF Studios, celebrating 100 years in 2019, takes a further step to strengthen its TV Production house. Susann Billberg Rydholm is one of Sweden’s leading producers and will be responsible for heading SF Studios’ development and production of TV series across SF Studios’ operations in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

SF Studios’ production of TV series has grown rapidly in recent years, and in 2019 the company will produce seven series across its production houses in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Notably titles in recent years include “Seaside Hotel”, “Rita”, “The Lawyer”, “Alex” and “The Hunters”.

Susan Billberg Rydholm’s most recent role has been as a Senior Producer at Jarowskij. She has over a long and successful career produced prizewinning and critically acclaimed productions such as “The Laserman”, line produced Stieg Larsson’s “The Millennium” trilogy and most recently produced three seasons of the successful and critically acclaimed “The Restaurant”.

“I am incredibly excited that a producer of Susann’s ability is joining SF Studios to take on the important role of leading our TV business. SF Studios has grown into one of the leading producers of TV drama in the Nordics and I’m certain that Susann’s talents as both a leader and as a producer with deep experience will further strengthen that position”, says Tim King, EVP Production at SF Studios.

Susann will start her new role in March 2019 and will report to Tim King.
